Quattro

Thursday, June 14, Galen and I celebrated our 4th year of marriage. We have learned so much about each other and what love is over this time yet feel overwhelmed (with goodness) that this is just the beginning. We pledged our faithfulness very young (VERY young) and feel so fortunate to have grown together rather than apart. We will continue to celebrate our growth and differences as our love and marriage mature. It is indeed sweet.

This year we celebrated by visiting a restaurant down the street from us called Woodberry Kitchen and I can confidently say for both of us that this will be an anniversary to remember. We both now have an all-time favorite eatery. It was a sensory experience from the gingery soap in the bathroom to the waiters charming outfits, to the delicate little table touches. Not to mention the food was the best we've ever had. Top to bottom, drinks to desert, it was a spectacular treat.

Throughout the night we both kept shaking our heads in disbelief and grinning foolishly at one each other - bite after bite, after sip. While we won't be able to visit often, we will go any chance we get. Grateful and honored, we are thrilled that we were able to celebrate and kick our new marriage year off with a meal and experience that satisfied both body and soul.
